Put this scenario in your mind first:
You are about to leave for work, all set for a great day. You then realize that you do not have your keys. They are supposed to be in the basket by the door, a discipline measure that you have put in place since you are aware of your forgetfulness.
They are not there. You begin a frantic search – kitchen counter, bookshelf, jacket, and even night stand. No, this is not happening. You have a presentation to make and you need to do some final touches.
15 minutes later, you find them under the mail that you brought in earlier on when you woke up. What a mess.
Well, the above story is a very common scenario in many homes, many mornings, if not all.
A British Insurance company carried out a research in 2012 that showed that the average person misplaces around 9 items in a day. Every day, an average of 15 minutes is spent searching for items.
You are more likely to lose your key, some documents or your cell phone.
Imagine how much time you would save in a week, month or year, just by not misplacing items.
While measures like having specific places to put things can be put in place, they are not always effective.
Picture yourself having never to worry about misplacing items. Less stressful mornings.
No getting late for work.
Well, what you have imagined has come true. This is no fairy tale. You can track lost items and locate your phone, thanks to technology: a device called TrackR.
Incredible, right? Yes, it is possible to use this tiny, lightweight and discreet device to track all those items that have a knack for disappearing when you need them the most.
When we talk of tiny, we are talking about the size of a quarter. Yes, that is how small this handy device is.
It is very convenient, not only in terms of size but also placement. You can attach it to your wallet, keys, handbag or anything that you could easily lose.
The device is so discreet. It looks like a key ring. You will barely notice it even when it is attached anywhere. On a handbag, for instance, it looks like a zip head. The adhesive pad also helps in attaching it to different things.
Interestingly, trackr is two-way. You can also use it to find your phone if you have misplaced it too. Talk of convenience.
The device is 1.2 inches across and 0.2 inches thick. It weighs only 0.3 ounces. It has a backlit pairing button since it is in essence Bluetooth device.
The device will work with any Bluetooth device that runs on Android 4.4 or later or iOS 8 or later. You can pair 10 devices with a single smartphone. These are 10 items that you are most likely to lose or misplace.
The device uses a CR1616 coin cell that is only replaced once a year. This is such a plus, since unlike its rivals, where you have to buy another device when the battery dies, you can replace the battery in the trackr.
When your connected phone and the lost item are out of range with one another, you will receive an alarm notification. If you have forgotten your keys, the alarm will notify you. And vice versa. If you have the keys but have forgotten your phone, the keys will sound an alarm.
With the device, the alarms are not high pitch distracting tones. You get to customize your own alarm. Your favorite song could be your alarm.

Never losing my keys, wallet or phone ever again
TrackR was the best investment I've made! This way I feel extra safe that I have my valuables always with me. If I'm going out to party with my friends or just going out to buy groceries I have TrackR to always keep the things I value most close.

Best Tracker on the market
For a $15 device, TrackR bravo really pays off. Sure, it's not the end-all-be-all solution to losing your items, but it definitely helped me save about $300. I keep it in my wallet since I didn't know TrackR sells a related device called TrackR wallet, specifically for, you guessed it, wallets. The other day I left my wallet on the counter of a bar. As I began to walk out the front door, my phone started ringing like I was getting a phone call. I thought that was quite odd since I always keep my phone on vibrate. Sure enough, the TrackR app was ringing me since I had gone more than 100ft away from the TrackR in my wallet. Luckily, I got my wallet back and was able to buy more drinks at another bar and pay for a ride home!

Never Leave the House With it!
I simply cannot part with my TrackR. The features that are in it make sures you always have your phone, wallet, or keys with you at all times.
Press the button on the device to find your phone, when in range. The phone will sound an alarm.
This will work even if the volume on your phone is muted.
The top half of the trackr app on your phone has a Google Maps layout. It helps you find where the item that you are looking for was last.
There is a green icon that you use to activate the device’s alarm. Some of the notifications that you can receive are like far, near, or close by.
The device has some impressive features like setting up wi-fi safe zones which disable proximity alerts when you are at work or at home. The alarms need not keep going off every time you move from one point to another.
Better still, you can share access to your device with a community of some users. This comes in handy if your phone goes missing. You could ask someone who is nearby to help ping your phone if it is within proximity. He will do it anonymously.
Well, if you are not comfortable with this feature (which could be a lifesaver) you can deactivate it.
If someone else finds your lost item, you will receive a notification too.
No product is perfect, and even this tiny, convenient, handy device has a downside. You cannot tell when the battery is about to die. This could be really inconvenient if you have lost an item and the battery is already dead.
The ringer volume goes up to 85 decibels. Despite this, it is a bit faint and it may be difficult to hear it in a noisy place.
There are many things to love about the trackr. It is tiny, very tiny, making it discreet. It can fit literally anywhere.
The design is so sleek. It can only add to the aesthetics of whatever item you are attaching it to. You just need to see it to believe it.
You can replace the battery instead of buying an entirely new device.
Say goodbye to frantic and stressful mornings, wasted time, and getting late for work.
Yes, the trackr makes you an average person, but who is not among those described in the aforementioned study.
Attach up to 10 devices, more than those that the average person misplaces daily.
Use the device to locate your phone and vice versa.
The device redefines convenience and accessibility. It is lightweight, it will never be cumbersome.
You can share access to the device with other people, should you lose your phone, and it is out of range.
You never have to worry about leaving your keys at the gas station. If someone picks them up, you will get to know.
The device is simply that you cannot live without. Don't get late for work again, or lose precious time anymore. Just get the device today.
